What can I do at the VIXII Rooms pop-up?

You’ll also find lots of fun, interactive VIXII moments including The Uncut Truth, The Mirror Room, try your luck at The Wheel of Good Fortune and of course drink some chai by Maji Chai, along with lots of other surprises throughout the pop-up.

Can I customise my own Polki diamond jewellery at the pop-up?

Yes. At The Customisation Department, you can choose your own one-of-a-kind lab grown Polki diamond charm, pick your cord colour and decide exactly how you want to wear it.

Choose between a stacking bracelet, statement choker, pendant necklace or matching set to create something that feels entirely your own.

How does the Polki customisation experience work?

The VIXII Polki customisation experience has three simple steps:

  1. Pick your Polki: choose the unique lab grown Polki diamond charm that speaks to you.
  2. Pick your colour: select your favourite cord colour from the available collection.
  3. Pick your style: turn your design into a stacking bracelet, statement choker, longer pendant necklace or even design a matching set!

Once you have created your designs, the VIXII team will finish them beautifully and pack them into a VIXII gift box!

Buy 2 and save 10% on the set. A complete customised piece therefore starts from £148, depending on your chosen combination.

Can I choose my own Polki diamond?

Yes. The experience is designed around choosing the individual Polki diamond that speaks to you. Each Polki has its own shape, character and appearance, so no two finished designs are exactly the same.

What is a Polki diamond?

Polki refers to diamonds celebrated in an uncut and unpolished form rather than shaped into conventional brilliant cut stones. Their uncut forms and individual character mean each stone is different, which is the idea at the heart of VIXII’s Beautifully Imperfect philosophy.

Are VIXII’s Polki diamonds lab grown?

Yes. VIXII reimagines Polki through a modern demi-fine lens using lab grown Polki diamonds. The result brings together the character of the uncut Polki aesthetic with VIXII’s colourful, contemporary approach to everyday jewellery.

What jewellery can I make at the VIXII pop-up?

At the VIXII Rooms Customisation Department, you can create your chosen Polki diamond design as a:

  • stacking bracelet
  • statement choker
  • pendant necklace

You can choose your Polki diamond, select your cord colour and decide how you want to wear it.

Can I book a Polki appointment?

Yes. You can book a Polki appointment to enjoy the customisation experience at a time that suits you. Book your Polki appointment.

Can I buy ready-to-wear VIXII jewellery at the pop-up?

Yes. Alongside the Polki customisation experience, visitors can shop the full collection of VIXII lab grown Polki diamond jewellery in person. This is also an opportunity to see, try on and layer VIXII pieces before choosing your favourites.

Can I try on VIXII jewellery at the pop-up?

Yes. Visitors are welcome to try on available VIXII jewellery, explore different combinations and discover how the pieces look layered and styled in person. Please note that, for hygiene purposes, earrings cannot be tried on directly. We will have earring stands so you can visualise them.

Will there be chai at the VIXII Marylebone pop-up?

Yes. Chai is part of the VIXII Rooms experience, bringing together two Indian inheritances, one worn and one shared. We have collaborated with chai brand Maji for visitors to purchase during the pop-up.

Are there events at VIXII Rooms?

Why is VIXII opening a pop-up in Marylebone?

VIXII Rooms brings the world of VIXII offline for a limited time, giving visitors the chance to experience the jewellery, Polki customisation and brand story in person. For two weeks, unique, uncut diamonds have landed in Marylebone.

How can I find out more about VIXII Rooms?

Sign up to the VIXII newsletter and follow us on social media for pop-up updates, event announcements and booking information.

Do you have cameras in the store?

Yes. We use a camera and some software to understand how the shop is used, like how busy we get and which displays draw people in.

Are you recording video of me?

No. We don’t record or keep any video. What the software does instead is take the occasional still snapshot and turn each face into a string of numbers, a sort of “face signature,” so it can tell whether someone coming in is new or has been before.

So you are storing my face?

In a way, yes, and we’d rather be upfront about that. For every visitor the system saves that numeric face signature and a snapshot image, and it uses them only to recognise a returning visitor. It’s how we tell a first-time guest from a regular.

Does that mean you know who I am?

Not by default, no. The signature isn’t tied to your name or any contact details. To the system you’re just an anonymous number, something like “Visitor 1234.” We don’t know who you are unless you choose to tell us.

Is this facial recognition?

It’s a limited form of it. It recognises whether a face has been seen in our shop before. It doesn’t identify you as a named person, and it isn’t linked to any outside database or watchlist.

How long do you keep this?

If you stay anonymous, your face signature and snapshot are automatically deleted after 30 days. Nothing anonymous is held longer than that.

What if I’d like you to remember me?

That’s entirely your choice. If you’d like a more personal experience, you can give us your name and details and agree to us keeping them. We’ll then recognise you on future visits and look after you like a regular. You get the same warm welcome either way.

I opted in but changed my mind.

No problem at all. Just tell the team or email us, and we’ll delete your details and your face signature from the system for good.

Does any of this leave the shop?

No. It all runs on a computer here on site. We don’t upload it to the cloud, we don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with anyone else.

How do you handle this under GDPR?

We treat your face signature as personal information and handle it under UK data protection law. We keep anonymous data to a minimum, delete it on a short cycle, and only store your name and contact details when you’ve actively agreed. You can ask to see what we hold, or have it deleted, at any time.

Why do you use this at all?

It genuinely just helps us run a better shop. We can put more people on the floor when we’re busy, and set things out around what actually catches your eye.

I’ve got a question, or I’m not comfortable with it.

Please talk to us. Have a word with anyone on the team while you’re in, or email care@vixii.co.uk and we’ll be glad to explain or sort it out.

The fine print lives in the pop-up terms & conditions and pop-up privacy policy.
